Once upon a time, there was a daddy, a mommy,
and a little girl.
This family had lots of love to share. They
decided that they wanted to share their love with a little baby. They decided
to adopt a baby.
At the same time, a cute baby boy was born far
away. He was born in a beautiful country called
Guatemala.
He needed a family to take care of him. He needed a family to love him.
The daddy, the mommy, and the little girl could
take care of the baby. They could love the baby. So, they adopted the baby.
The baby became part of that family. The family
loved the baby very much.
The baby grew. He learned to crawl. He learned
to walk. He learned to talk.
Soon, a whole year had passed since the baby’s
adoption. The family celebrated his adoption with a “Gotcha Party.”
The baby continued to grow. Soon, he was not a
baby any more. He was a little boy. He went to school. He rode a bike. He could
do many things.
Each year, the family remembered the special
